25 Lug Inochi

Born in Japan, Sachiyo Honda inherited a family legacy shaped by the stories of her grandmother, a survivor of the 1945 firebombing of Tokyo. This legacy has shaped her belief that everything has value and that life – Inochi – is a precious gift to be preserved and passed on. Through her way of life and her artistic practice, she explores creation as an act of care, transformation and the passing on of life.
