On the move from Guatemala, a flight delay causes Gabriel to miss his brother’s wake in Barcelona. Before the burial, his sister-in-law explains to him that his brother will be cremated. That same night, Gabriel decides to try to see his brother’s face one last time. Although it is now too late, he will be able to remember his brother by establishing a new bond with his young niece.
