Synopsis

Lina and Katha set off for Sweden in their camper van – they are looking for the Northern Lights, a break from everyday life, and also a piece of the closeness that once connected them. What begins as an escape soon becomes a quiet journey inward. In the vastness of the snowy north and on endless roads, Lina carries a secret with her: an unplanned pregnancy. As Lina slowly comes to terms with the idea of being a mother, she suffers a miscarriage. Something that was barely tangible leaves behind a void that is difficult to put into words. While Lina struggles with the pain, Katha herself is at a turning point, full of professional pressure and prospects. The two friends, who wanted to support each other, are confronted with their differences. Their closeness becomes fragile, words fail them, and the silence between them grows louder. A film about what remains when something disappears and a friendship that is allowed to change.
