“Noken Kilim Meri” is a documentary about sorcery accusation related violence in Papua New Guinea. It tells the story of Malina, a 30-year-old woman accused of poisoning the daughter of a local pastor with black magic, and Sister Lorena, a Swiss nun, who rescues her from nearly being killed by her community. Through accounts from indigenous and foreign activists, the documentary covers the socio-economic issues behind this increasing violence that for too long has been neglected by the international community.
