In a remote corner of Papua New Guinea, a ten-year-old boy, Sereva, opens the doors of an enchanted world to us. Among immense trees and mysterious sounds, nature and the ancient traditions of the village merge into a deep harmony, almost suspended in time. Sereva dreams of building his first fishing canoe, but tradition holds that this sacred art is reserved for the oldest men. Through his curious and determined gaze, the documentary guides us on an intimate and universal journey into the importance of cultural memory, the connection with nature and the courage to pursue one’s dreams.
