It’s richer than ever this year: the selection dedicated to Italian short films with 23 titles from the Italian independent scene

The selection dedicated to Italian short films of RIFF 2020 is richer than ever and will be able to count on all the comforts made possible by the streaming context of the event. Therefore, no more time and space obligations, but everything necessary to offer maximum coverage to 23 short films from the Italian independent scene; an immense catalog, with the most varied characteristics, rigorously assembled with the intention of celebrating innovation. Twenty-three national premieres, ready to be presented to the public in a series of screenings with the presence of the authors.

With a large part of the catalog dedicated to young beginners, the selection of Italian short films at RIFF will therefore give the spotlight, and the necessary space to know their work, to almost thirty artists. The duration of the works will be between 5 and 25 minutes, in a continuous alternation of registers, styles, approaches and stories to tell.
