The first press conference will be held on Thursday morning, November 17, in the multifunctional hall set up by Cinema America Group. On this occasion, the schedule and objectives of the event, the titles, and the main sections will be presented in detail and, as usual, the start of the screenings in competition will be announced at the Nuovo Cinema Aquila of Pigneto. After the presentation conference, the opening film of the festival will be shown. This privilege will be granted to the Brazilian documentary “The Wind Blows the Border”, an absolute Italian preview that anticipates the main themes of the event: investigative international reporting directed by two young auteurs determined to shed light on a key issue of their time. The film is about the struggles of the Indians in Mato Grosso du Sul, on the border between Brazil and Paraguay. The work of directors Laura Faerman and Marina Weis is only the beginning of the official competition of this edition, which will continue all next week. As usual, it is about a global, innovative, and independent concept of cinema.
