The overcrowded Schedule of RIFF 2020 will not disregard the Official Competition dedicated to Feature Films. In a Program Full Of Events, Meetings, Masterclasses, Documentaries And Short Films…

In a program full of events, meetings, masterclasses, documentaries and short films, the eight titles in the Feature Film Competition will be the absolute protagonists; the films, all Italian premieres, will be shown for the first time every evening from November 26th to December 3rd, available on the Mymovies platform. The streaming will replace the live screenings at New Cinema Aquila, and it will make the entire catalog visible upon purchase of the full season ticket.

Regarding the program, the Feature Film Competition section will start with the British film Surge, directed by Aneil Karia, already shown at Sundance and Berlin, the Czech film Havel by Slàvek Hovàk, and Ernesto, the only Italian film in competition, highly anticipated debut by the duo Alice De Luca and Giacomo Raffaelli. The competition will continue with Lost Girls, a project by the highly acclaimed producer Julia Verdin, and the intercontinental maxi-co-production La Fortaleza by Venezuelan Jorge Thielen-Armand. We will return to Europe with the Polish film Time for Love and the historical film Fires in The Dark. The section will close with 7 Minutes, debut in the feature film by Ricky Mastro; at that point, the most important decision will rely on the jury.
