Toni Venturi is a Brazilian filmmaker known for works of social and political nature. He directed and produced nine feature films and won 67 awards at national and international film festivals, including, "Latitude Zero" (Berlinale 2001) and "Playing In The Dark" (Kerala Film Festival 2005). Val Gomes directed the documentary "Weaving Stories and Embroidering New Paths" (2005), a project that later prompted interchanges between women on the periphery of São Paulo and Paris. She was the head researcher of the series "Restless Scene" (2018) and directed the short film "Adelia's Voice" (2021).
