At 6:20 pm, for the documentaries about the Capital: “Viaggio attraverso la Città Possibile” by Eugenio Corsetti & Emiliano Monaco, Italian Premiere

Also set in the Capital, at 8:00 pm “Ernesto” by Alice De Luca and Giacomo Raffaelli (Italy) opens the National Competition of Feature Films (World premiere). First work of two very young directors starring Federico Russo (I Cesaroni and Curon).

At 6:30 pm we will find Rome in documentaries again: “Under the Skin – In Conversation with Anish Kapoor” by Martina Margaux Cozzi, Italian premiere. An art film that leads us to discover the creative world of Anish Kapoor, the great British sculptor and architect with Indian origins, and his personal relationship with art, as part of his exhibition-event at MACRO in Rome.

At 8:00 pm the Short Films of the National competition will also open, and at 10:00 pm the Feature Film Competition “Surge” by Aneil Karia (UK), in competition at the Berlinale and Sundance, closes the day with an Italian premiere: Joseph leads a monotonous life between his apartment and a job at the airport. An impulsive act of rebellion pushes him on a wild and reckless journey to central London where he will experience what it means

Among the moments of the day on Saturday 28th November, at 3:30 pm the second out of three highly anticipated masterclasses will take place. The protagonist will be the director of photography Fabrizio Lucci in the panel entitled “Storie di Cinema”, telling the secrets of his profession. He has worked in numerous television and film projects and, among his most famous works divided between cinema and TV, we remember Don Matteo, Coco Chanel, Immaturi, Perfetti Sconosciuti and The Place. The masterclass will be an opportunity, for both students and professionals to understand the construction of an image in a film and an opportunity to learn how to give life to an artistic vision through extraordinary images. A comparison focused on experimentation in the use of light and the camera in the narration of images.
