The Italian film “Al servizio del cliente” by Beppe Tufarulo and the Estonian “Shift” by Anu Aun from the international selection topped the rostrum. However, special mention should be given to the Italian shorts “Lacrime nere” from Emanuela Rossi and “Mezz’ora non mi basta” by Laura Rovetti. Among the animated shorts in competition, “I am Simon” by Tunde Molnar (Hungary) lorded over all, while the German “Live Stream” from Jens Wischnewski was named best student short. And there were still many other awards granted at the end of the festival: the New Vision Prize went to “An African Election” by Jarreth Merz (Switzerland), the Eco-Director Certificate from GecoFilmFest went to “Unfinished Italy” by Benoit Felici (Italy), and, finally, the MiniMovie Award, which provides a distribution contract, was given to “Viola” from Travis Andrade (USA).
