Just before the pandemic, the world experiences a phenomenon never seen before. Marilene looks for her daughter Roberta, a trans woman who went missing. While running out of time, she discovers a hope for the future.
Director biographical note
  • Enock Carvalho (1992, Brazil) is a filmmaker, screenwriter and producer. He is graduated in Journalism and his shorts have been screened at more than 70 film festivals around the world, such as the London Short Film Festival, Moscow International Film Festival, New Directors /New Films Portugal, among others. He is currently preparing his first feature, The Dark River, co-directed with Matheus Farias. As editor, Matheus is working with Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles in their next features.
