Director biographical note
Davide Morando is a director, editor and screenwriter. After studying Filmmaking at the London Film Academy, he worked as a creative producer for several TV networks, including Paramount Network, MTV and Sky. Thanks to this, in 2017, he was nominated for the PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards in Los Angeles. His comedy "Gli Atomici Fotonici", starring Giovanni Storti and produced by MINI Italia, is selected in more than 50 international festivals. In 2022, his short film "The True Story of the World's Biggest Game of Hide-and-Seek", co-written and directed with Paolo Bonfadini and Irene Cotroneo, was nominated for a Globo d’oro.
Paolo Bonfadini is an Italian director, author and musician, with a degree in History from the University of Milan and a diploma in Film and Television Direction from the Civica Scuola di Cinema L. Visconti. Since 2021 he has been part of the Sky TG24 team. As a director for the all news channel he follows the daily reporting of all domestic and foreign news events. With the Asterisco* Collective he directed "Gea" (2020) and "La vera storia della partita di nascondino più grande del mondo" (2021), which was nominated for the Globo d’oro for Best Short Film (2022). “Ultraveloci”, written and directed with Davide Morando, is his latest short film.
