Collaborating with “Young European Cinema On the Move”, RIFF hosted a series of screenings and events on the theme of women’s liberation and equal opportunity in Europe.
Three films were selected for this night. Die Fremde (The Stranger) by Fao Adalag had a free showing Friday of the festival at 18.45 and was followed by a discussion with the European Deputy Silvia Costa about the issues mentioned above.
Next, the documentary Iriria-Nina Terra by Carmelo Camilli was shown. The film is a reflection on the conflict between man and land. Then, Diversa Mente, un’Esistenza Outsider by Lorenzo Marinelli was shown followed by a discussion with Franco Battiato.
Friday closed with The Sweepers by Igor Maltagliati.
