A concentration of the best Cinema del Reale by the most promising young filmmakers on the Italian scene will debut at the Rome Independent Film Festival, turning the spotlight on the Capital for four autumn evenings.
A program full of cutting-edge documentary suggestions that will take you on a journey through the most stimulating aspects of the present, naturally, in an absolute world premiere.
From the ethnographic study of complex and difficult to describe communities (the conflictual South of the United States in “Arcadia America”) to the homage to an authentic Roman social institution (the Porta Portese of “Don’t Close That Door”), up to the historical biography as reworking of the pop culture of the twentieth century which immortalized artists of the caliber of Lucio Dalla, Jimi Hendrix and Mick Jagger (the Renzo Chiesa of the work of the same name). The work “The Erasmus Generation” will symbolically close the review and the entire edition of the Festival, which will put a point in the path of social exploration of today suggested by the review.
Join us together with the directors and protagonists of the works in competition, we are waiting for you!
