Pen to paper, a sweet old woman (Jane Horrocks) can’t find the right words. But when she lends her pen to a hopeless young chap, it’s more than just words that elude her.

Micky Wozny studied animation at university before working as an animator in Sheffield, winning several awards. Deciding to leap back into education, she successfully applied to the MA Directing Animation course at the National Film and Television School. She has directed Max, Dots, Let Her Rip (2018) and her graduation film Something Borrowed (2020). She also plans to complete another 2D animated short.
