International cinema enters the room today with the multiple-award-winning Achero Mañas (the winner of four Goya Awards in 2001 for the film “El Bola”) who will present the compelling Anything You Want (8:40pm), a film centered on a peculiar father-son relationship that transgresses traditional parental roles, and one that will tug at even the innermost heart-strings. The director will be present for the screening. The evening will continue with a horror double-feature: at 10:40pm, Ubaldo Terzani Horror Show from Gabriele Albanesi, a film set in a world of perversions, madness and terror which the audience will be unable to resist; and, at 12:10am, the five episodes that compose the film Fantasmi – Italian Ghost Stories from the directors T. Agnese, A. Gagliardi, S. Prolli, R. Palma, O. Protani, and M. Farina, five ghost stories from six young directors, with a thrilling touch of noir. Among the documentaries: Pink Saris by K. Longinotto (6:15pm) about gender-based violence in India and Under the Spotlight from Duygu Etikan (6:30pm) about the hard struggle for recognition in the world of ballet.
