Among the other prizes at stake: One sponsored by the Lazio Region, with a value of 2,500 euro, for the development of the winning selection of the Best Short Film category, and the Distribution Prize, offered this year by the Nuovo Cinema Aquila – the site of the screenings – that offers the possibility for the winning feature film to reenter the theater’s programming schedule. New in 2011 will be the Tevere Prize with a value of 1,000 euro, which RIFF, together with the Rotary Club Roma Tevere, will offer to young filmmakers for videoclips, spots or short films (with a maximum length of 5 minures) with themes relating to the protection of “Acqua Oro Blu”, one of the most precious global resources, rich in symbolism for the city of Rome.
