Thanks to the important project RIFF on Tour and thanks to the collaboration with Istituto italiano di Cultura, Fabrizio Ferrari will present to New Delhi sunday 10 January the documentary A Journey on the Tabla of Simone Mariani. The work of italian director tells the human story of the musician Sanjay Kansa Banik, filmed in Italy and India and presented through his concerts and interviews with some of the musicians with whom it cooperates, including Sergio Cammariere and Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio.
Also RIFF on Tour arrives in India at the fourteenth edition of Pune International Film Festival. Born in 2002 and now become one of the most important appointment for film buffs and professionals, the PIFF 2016 will be from 14 January until 21 January. The artistic director of the RIFF, Fabrizio Ferrari will present at the festival out of competition three italian films selected in the previous edition of the Rome Indipenedent Film Festival. The works made in Italy that will represent our cinema in India are: The Elevator of Massimo Coglitore, La mezza stagione of Danilo Caputo and Mi chiamo Maya of Tommaso Agnese.
