Luna, a modern young girl living in Sarajevo who is about to get married with her long-term boyfriend meets Martina, a girl who travels to Sarajevo running away from her life in Italy in a moment of personal crisis. Meeting Martina is a dramatic turning point in Luna’s life: she falls in love and engages in a secret liaison, leading to a double life while her wedding preparations are on the go.

To take the chance to go through with their love story, the two girls will have to pay a very high price.

Carlo Chiaramonte was born in 1965. He graduated in History and criticism of Cinema at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome and was Assistant Director to Vittorio De Sisti, Leandro Castellani and Alessandro di Robilant, he moreover collaborated to the development of several screenplays and wrote critical essays published by the magazine “Cinema nuovo”. He directed: “Le donne vestivano gonne fiorite” (documentary, 2005), “Il centro del mondo” (documentary, 2007), “Tutto da sola” (short, 2009), “Eduardo Kobra – Peace” (short, documentary, 2014), “L'altra Luna” (first feature, 2020).
