Iacopo Zanon was born in Rome in 1979. For several years, he worked as a filmmaker for the production company Filmmaster and for the program "That's Italia", produced and distributed by the TV network La7, where he directed, filmed, and edited behind-the-scenes footage and current affairs reports. Among his educational and professional experiences are the Workshop on Technical Skills in IT, Digital Media, and Project Management for Cinema and New Media at the University of Tor Vergata; the Film Directing Workshop at the Holden School with Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami; the Nisi Masa European Short Pitch focused on script development; the Nutrimenti Terrestri Workshop on directing and script development organized by the Filmmaker Festival and Luca Mosso; the Screenwriting Workshop run by the Fare Cinema Foundation of Marco Bellocchio. He is the author, director, and editor of commercials, music videos, documentaries, and short films.
