The Anilogue Animation Film Festival (a festival of animated cinema held every year in Budapest and Vienna), The Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival – Curta Cinema (now in its twentieth year, it has become one of the most important short film festivals in Latin America) and The Film Festival Tofifest of Torun (a young festival characterized by its particularly innovative content). The three festivals will present sixteen works, includine shorts, animated films, documentaries and videoclips (see the Events section of the Programme).
The festival also has an important partnership with the GecoFilmFest of Rome, which, now in its second edition, uses film to reach moments of reflection on the human-environmental relationship and the means in which contemporary society confronts ideas related to ecology. In the 2011 edition of RIFF, several documentaries have been scheduled which were selected in conjunction with GecoFilmFest from among their award-winning works of highest ecological sensibility.
