From the Los Angeles Academy to the Berlinale via Cannes; we are pleased to present the titles in competition in the sections dedicated to film schools and animations.

In competition we find ten short films and six animated shorts, made by students from the most prestigious international film schools. With four world premieres and titles selected at the Oscars, the Cannes Film Festival and the Berlinale, the category reserved for emerging talents in the cinematographic panorama continues, this year too, to explore themes of great social relevance, such as immigration, violence gender, the employment challenges of the new generations and the value of the family.

The RIFF is, as always, proud to give visibility to these new talents, whose works will be screened during the days of the festival
