Alongside a vast program dedicated to short films, RIFF 2024 will present four documentaries representing as many international films on the opening days. With an eye always rigorously aimed at the most pressing contemporaneity, this 2024 will be told through defining stories and dynamics of the last few months: it will open from the debate on stem cells and the path to legalization of alternative therapies “The Sunshine Dreamer”, passing through the problematic debate on the regulation of digital content “The Click Trap”, up to the drama of human trafficking linked to prostitution “After The Odyssey”. Finally, a particular role will be played by “Apple Cider Vinegar”, a singular personal story that will close the two days dedicated to documentary visions from the world.
