He is currently working with Oliver Stone on another documentary project.

At 10:10 pm for the Italian Shorts section, “Costellazioni dautunno” by Marco Iermanò will be presented. The short is his first challenge as a director. Already an award-winning actor, Marco Iermanò was directed by Giuseppe Tornatore in Baarìa and Michele Placido in Il grande sogno qui. Love, his birth, his life, his time. A young cook falls in love with an older man, a physics and astronomy researcher. Their story unfolds through four autumns. “Costellazioni d’autunno” is the first short to be distributed by Prime Video in Italy, in the US and in the UK. “Zheng” by Giacomo Sebastiani will be the second short of the evening. Starring a lonely Chinese boy, who has worked in Italy since he was a child. Torn between the rigor that work imposes on him and the desire to get in touch with his peers, Zheng will be called to make a choice. “Le piccole cose” by Gaia Altissimo & Luca Calvaresi, closes the screenings of the Italian shorts section: made thanks to the tenacity of a group of young artists who have joined their forces to get involved and participate in a project capable of mixing together different personalities and areas.
