Great public participation in the 14th Edition of the RIFF, Rome Independent Film Festival, at The Space Cinema Moderno and at Nuovo Cinema Aquila of Rome, with more than 120 works competing – among feature films, short films and documentaries – from more than 40 different countries.
At the presence of the famous actress Caroline Goodall (Cliffhanger, Schindler’s List, Nymphomaniac), the following works have been awarded with RIFF Awards, which total prize amounts to 50,000 Euros.

Independent works have been awarded with RIFF Awards 2015 by the International Jury of the Festival, composed of Louis Siciliano, musician and composer and winner of the Nastro d’Argento Award in 2005; of Philippe Antonello, set photographer who worked along with some personalities such as Gabriele Salvatores, Pupi Avati and Nanni Moretti, and for international people like Mel Gibson, in the film “The Passion” or Wes Anderson; and of Ines Vasiljevic film producer of various works such as “La nave dolce”, “La ritirata” and “Con il fiato sospeso”, and the Indian actress and producer Vishakha Singh; the documentarist Antonio Pezzuto; the Japanese actress Jun Ichikawa; Fabio Mancini, editor of the documentaries web space DOC3 at RAITRE who also worked writing different editions of the television program “Storie Maledette”; ending with the director Gianfranco Pannone.
Among the eminent guests that participated at the Festival Week, we’d like to mention Citto Maselli, Edoardo Leo, Angelo Orlando, Alessandro Haber, Valentina Carnelutti, Nicoletta Romanoff, Marco Bonini, Luca Lionello, Agnese Nano, Carmen Giardina.
The RIFF, directed by Fabrizio Ferrari, with the support of The Regional Council for Culture and Tourism, the cooperation of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and the Regional Council for Culture and Youth Policy, every year gathers a growing appreciation, both from public and critics, for the high-quality of its participating works.
