A young man rejects a foster child, mirroring the unresolved pain of his own childhood.

John Giordano is a 32-year-old Italian-British writer & director who lives in Rome. His short film “Amias” (2013) earned him a scholarship to the London Film School, where he produced “Three Centimetres” (2018), winner of the Teddy Award at the Berlinale. More recently, he completed the short film “A Deer Died Here” (2023), which was selected for the Drama International Short Film Festival, an Oscar-qualifying festival.
