Roma Videoclip – Cinema Meets Music, is the premier national event of its kind. Conceived and directed by Francesca Piggianelli—President of the cultural association Romarteventi—it is held with the official recognition of the Ministry of Culture’s Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual Works, and under the patronage of the Rome Capital Department of Culture, the Roma Lazio Film Commission, the Lazio Region, Panalight, and the CSC. The festival celebrates artists, directors, music videos (including those derived from films), composers, live film-concerts, productions, and music-related books. It also extends to the "Roma Videoclip on Tour – Indie Section," featuring screenings of music videos from across Italy and beyond, culminating in a grand finale attended by artists, directors, and producers. The goal of *Roma Videoclip* is to honor the synergy between cinema and music and to champion the music video as a form of expressive art—a "micro-film."
