The winners of the 24th edition have been announced – Best International Feature Film: Violent Butterflies by Adolfo Dávila (Mexico) – Best Italian Feature Film: E se mio padre by Solange Tonnini

The announcement of the winners concludes the 24th edition of RIFF – Rome Independent Film Festival, which took place from November 21 to 28, 2025. The artistic direction was entrusted to Academy Award winner Paul Haggis, who, taking over from founder Fabrizio Ferrari, helped consolidate the festival’s commitment to promoting new visions and innovative languages. The awards were presented by a jury composed of Barbara Busso, Giancarlo Chetta, Gabriele Ciampi, Mario Colamarino, Enzo d’Alò, Ben Minot and Maria Teresa Monaco.
