Drugs aren’t just an addiction; they’re a mental loop that keeps him trapped in an eternal déjà vu. Every attempt to break free only drags him back to the start. Then comes Jo-Jo, twenty, tough, enigmatic, she speaks only French and drives a caravan like it’s the only thing keeping her alive.
Together, they set out on a road trip to Portugal, across dusty roads and dreamlike landscapes, where their souls finally meet and speak the same language.
