Thirteen-year-old Eve lives in emotional twine between two families: her biological and adoptive. To bring closure to her first home, she must erase the past and erase traumatic memories. Clearing the memory gives space for a new beginning.

Maria Ornaf is a film director and visual artist. She graduated in the Film Directing from the Polish National Film School in Lodz and in the Intermedia from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. She was a scholarship recipient of Faculdade des Belas-Artes in Lisbon. Her multiple award-winning film "Bitter Herb" was screened at over 40 festivals worldwide. Her latest film, "When the House Turns", received numerous awards, including three Jan Machulski Awards for Best Film, Best Director, and Best Editing. In her work, she explores the visual language of film, allowing to reveal the invisible. She is also a lecturer in the Experimental Film faculty at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznan. In 2022, she was listed among the 100 Women by Forbes Women Polska magazine.
