How much can our feminine origins influence the women we are? “Matrimony” is a search on family life, which ceases to be private as soon as it is passed down. After the finding of some finds, pictures, homemovies, of a secret diary and a bracelet the author starts an investigation about femminility and its hereditability. Through the lives of three women, Mirella, Assunta e Gaia Siria, who belong to the same family but are from three different generations, the author gets closer to her identity as she is one of them. She is Mirella’s granddaughter and Assunta’s daughter.
