Checco is an illegal taxi driver in Naples, who works at all hours of the day and night. His job moves him far away from his wife, Manuela, and his daughter, Sofia. To make matters worse, he cooperates with Tony, a drug dealer who drags him into shady and dangerous business, pushing him to take drugs. However, he sees in Viola, a young client, , a way out of his alienating routine. Checco is consumed by his obsession with the girl, until losing himself and his family.
