At the RIFF – Rome Independent Film Festival directed by Fabrizio Ferrari on Friday, at 8.00 pm, at the Nuovo Cinema Aquila grand finale will be held, with the closing film “Addio al Nubilato” by Francesco Apolloni.
To ideally close a circle, Francesco Apolloni returns to the RIFF twenty years after having presented his first feature film, “Fate come noi”, with his latest out of competition film “Addio al Nubilato”. At the final evening, interpreters Laura Chiatti, Antonia Liskova, Chiara Francini and Jun Ichikawa will be with him.
Eleonora wanted to have plastic surgey; Linda wanted to die before she was 40; Vanessa bet she would get very fat; and Chiara made them make a promise: that even twenty years later they would always be there for each other. Linda, Eleonora, Vanessa and Akiko today celebrate the bachelorette party of one of their friends who, however, does not show up at the meeting place, but leaves clues. The four friends set out on a treasure hunt around the city.
The 2021 RIFF AWARDS ceremony will follow at 9.30 pm, during which winners will be announced.
