Beginning with a Spanish production, a turbulent family drama and a directorial debut by Borja de la Vega “Mia & Moi” with the roles of Bruna Cusi and Ricardo Gomez, will be presented also as part of the Films in Competition. The Tuesday 23rd screening at 22:00 will be attended by the director and filmmakers.
Among Italian productions, RIFF showcases “Fino ad Essere Felici” by Paolo Cipolletta, a visually vibrant drama touching upon the dilemma of having “double-lives” and the need of being truly oneself. The screening, on Saturday the 20th at 20:15 will be in presence of the filmmakers.
“The Grand Bolero” by Gabriele Fabbro, is yet another proposition within our LGBTQ+ section. An intensive psycho-thriller featuring Lidia Vitale, a renown actress and director, seen in productions such as “Suburra” or “Tulipani – Amore, onore e una bicicletta”. The screening, that will take place on Saturday the 20th at 22:15, will take place in presence of the director.
