A paper fairy tale ties two ways of living and loving: Giovanna, practical and caring, and Giuseppe, lone and creative. She manages the house and the family putting on herself the responsibility for everyone’s happiness, he builds theaters and characters with household materials, giving life to stories with which he enchants the family and entertains himself. The pandemic forces them together and it seems that the strings of the puppets can mend the relationship between the two. The documentary is the look of a grown-up daughter on her parents and their relationship, it is the poetry of a lively and tired relationship and the possibility of being told from the outside, through the eyes of the other.
