This year, RIFF meets music by hosting many artists that have participated on the film accomplishments! On April 3rd, at the Shari Vari, there will be Luca D’Aversa and Andrés Arce Maldonado in concert for the opening ceremony – respectively composer and director for the film “Carta Bianca”, in program at RIFF on Sunday April 7th, they will be back during the closing night at the Animal Social Club, on April 11th.
During the evenings, in which many other artists will be present, we will talk about movies once again, this time accompanied by Claudio Giovannesi, who will perform the soundtrack for the film “Alì dagli occhi azzurri”, his second feature, praised at Festa del Cinema di Roma’s last edition.
However, musicians presence at RIFF’s 12th edition do not summarizes to only these, as we will also have: Mattia Cutolo, Tommaso Pignocchi and Pasquale Citera, who have taken care of the soundtrack for “Le Formiche della Città Morta”, by Simone Bartolini, which will be screened on Saturday April 6th, and yet Luca Bussoletti and Riccardo Corso for the documentary “Suicidio Italia”, by Filippo Soldi, in program on Friday April 5th.
We will also witness the return of the American rapper Coolio to the big screen as leading actor for the competing American feature film “Two Hundred Thousand Dirty”, by Timothy L. Anderson, scheduled to screen on Friday April 5th.
