There will be a forum about new practices of European Independent Film Production to discuss green cinema: eco-friendly film practices in film production on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Nuovo Cinema Aquila at 10:30 am in Theater 1.
This year’s focus is eco-friendly film production. The event is an opportunity for the Italian and European film industries to meet and discuss a topic that is impacting the film sector. This year’s forum will open a discussion on the use of renewable energy, explaining how to reduce environmental impacts of film production.
The day will be divided in two parts: the first will focus on eco-friendly practices, while the second will deal with the difficulties that affect small distributors and independent producers. We present Cinzia Grossi and Francesca Andreoli (responsible for the project Ecomuvi), Pietro Reggiani (Adagio Film), Marco Gisotti (Green Factor) and Martha Capello (AGPCI); the Polish Bodo Kox (director of the film The Girl From the Wardrobe), Ania Trzebiatowska (Artistic director of Off Plus Camera) and the French Laura delle Piane and Jean Marc Sainclair (the directors of the documentary Since I was Born). For the new distribution section we present: Ciro De Caro (director of “Spaghetti Story”), Pier Francesco Aiello (PFA Films), Gregory J. Rossi (producer of the film Le Formiche della Città Morta), Giovanni Costantino (Distribuzione Indipendente), Alessia Ratzenberger (German Films) and Fabio Meloni (Nuovo Cinema Aquila).
