We encourage to share, from 2nd March to 2nd April, everything related to light, everything connected to the whole human existance under the most disparate angles. Let’s shot what made laws of nature understandable to us!
LET’S ILLUMINATE OURSELF WITH IMMENSITY!
UNESCO declared 2015 as the International Year of Light, life’s most important phenomenon, at least for what we know about it. Light is been studied and observed since the dawn of time: Plato, Aristotle, Euclid, Great Islamic and Catholic Thinker gave an extraordinary impulse to light’s learning theories, which will be experimented at a later stage by Galileo and Newton.
Even this year, the RIFF will give space to the other branch of telling something throught images: PHOTOGRAPHY. Without the previous invention of photography, that is writing by means of light, Cinema wouldn’t exist.
In order for you to partecipate you must add the hastags #luxriff and #igersroma to your pictures.
A committee will choose 50 pictures, among those received within 2nd March to 2nd April, to be exhibited on May, during the week of the Rome Indipendent Film Festival, in the foyer of The Space – Cinema Moderno, at Piazza della Repubblica.
The best one will receive an accreditation to enjoy the great indipendet immagination on the big screen: you will be our guest!
