Among the 2015 main characters we are pleased to present: the cartoonist, illustrator and director Dave McKean, who often collaborates with the writer Neil Gaiman, co-worker of the novel“Coraline” and the 2005 fantasy movie “Mirror Mask”.
McKean is going to present his movie: “Luna”. It gathers up live action and great animation techniques, which encourage dreamlike contemplation of art, birth, death and interpersonal relationship. The movie has won the Raindance Award at MBIFA (The Moët British Independent Film Awards). “Fair Play” is the Crystal Globe candidate movie by Czech director Andrea Sedlackova. It includes two great female performances: Judit Bardos and Ana Geislerova. It is a reconstruction of Czechoslovak life in 1980s.
“Todos Estan Muertos” is the debut film of the spanish director Beatriz Sanchis. It has already received two nominations (Best Actor, Best Director) at the Premio Goya 2015. “Midnight Swim” is a concurring psychodrama directed by Sarah Adina Smith.
