”Coke, Champagne and Cigarettes” is a story told through the eyes of the Berlin director, three interwoven stories, three people who are at a turning point in their lives.
The three main characters are born from experience and personal meetings that the director has had during her stay in Berlin, a big city that makes you feel alone and free albeit surrounded by many people. So the fine line between reality and fiction emphasizes true aspects of the generation “y”, people between 20 and 30 who are struggling with life everyday to find their place in society without abandoning dreams, desires but also fears.
