The MedFilm Festival is back to Rome from November the 4th to 12th; the most important event in Italy dedicated to Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Cinema.
The famous Egyptian director, Yousry Nasrollah, inaugurates the 22nd edition of the Medfilm festival with the first screening of the movie, “Brooks, Meadows and Lovely Faces (Al Ma’ wal Khodra wal Wajh El Hassan)”.
The Tunisian movie, “Hedi”, by Mohamed Ben Attia, will also be screened which was awarded the Silver Bear for the best actor as well as the best feature film of Berlinale in 2016. This film “is the analysis of the Tunisian youth after the revolution, the fall of Ben Ali and what the whole world then called the Arab Spring”, says the director.
Focused on independent cinema and young authors, an ample space will be also given to the Italian.
