Meteoric

When an artist is hit by a meteor, the result is a “painting” that captivates the world. But the people want more.

Paul Ó Muiris is an award-winning Irish Director. After studying in Ballyfermot College in Dublin and the Edinburgh College of Art, Paul quickly joined the rank of the Oscar-nominated Irish studio Cartoon Saloon where he directed the animated short film “The Ledge End of Phil (from accounting)” as well as the half-hour pilot “Eddie of the Realms Eternal”. In 2024, he co-created the animation studio and production company Studio Marguya, and directed the studio’s first short film “Meteoric” for Screen Ireland and RTÉ, which premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh in July 2025 and is now starting its festival run.
