In Italy, a 12-year-old girl is sold as a bride in Yemen. Her teacher discovers this and tries to convince the girl’s mother to turn to an association that defends women’s rights. Only the mother’s courage, torn between the illusion of a better life and the desire to protect her daughter, can save Aamaal from a cruel fate.
