William Reyes is a Honduran film director and screenwriter. He studied Audiovisual Production in Honduras and completed a Master’s in Latin American and Caribbean Cinema in Cuba. He is the founder of OPIDA, a production company focused on auteur cinema and film training programs for Indigenous and Afro-descendant communities. His short films \u201cVictoria\u201d and \u201cEl Pescador\u201d have screened at festivals such as Guadalajara and Havana, winning Best Fiction and Best Documentary at the \u00cdcaro Central American Film Festival. His debut feature film \u201cEva\u201d, a Honduras\u2013Colombia co-production, recently completed post-production after touring several industry platforms across the Americas.
