\u201cDarryl Jones: in the Blood\u201d by Eric Hamburg, who in his resume boasts collaborations with directors like Oliver Stone, offers a breathtaking portrait of an international star. A dip into music with the company of Mick Jagger and his companions, who tackles a highly topical issue such as racism in the USA. Always with music we fly to Norway, where Trond Kvig Andreassen, documentary filmmaker whose works have toured festivals all over the world, gives us an intimate portrait of one of the biggest Norwegian pop stars in “Everything that could have been”. The theme of social justice continues with \u201cOpeka\u201d (USA), the second work by Cam Cowan who, for his first film, received 20 awards at festivals around the world. The social theme continues to be the protagonist in “La niebla de la paz”, a documentary on Colombia’s FARC, by Joel Stangle, already known to the public of the capital for “Acqua Fuori dal Ring”. We move to Iran where \u201cWomen According to Men\u201d, by Saeed Nouri, takes us on a journey into cinema to rediscover the role of women seen through the lens of male filmmakers. The section closes with a rich focus dedicated to the LGBTQ theme. The Spanish \u201cYo Soy\u201d by Jaime Fidalgo, who despite his young age boasts over 250 official selections; \u201cParadise\u201d (Colombia) directed by the young and brilliant Santiago Henao Velez & Manuel Villa; \u201cMat and Her Mates\u201d (France), graduate work of the talented Pauline Penichout.<\/p>\n\n
