The Festival has organized this prestigious event since 2009 in order to facilitate an opportunity for discussion and debate about independent production in Europe. The guests of the Forum are a selection of young European independent producers who, through their productions, made the short list of \u201cProducers on the Move\u201d\u00a0 of the EFP at the last Cannes Film Festival.
\nThe European \u201cProducers on the Move\u201d will be: Italian Marta Donzelli (Vivo Film), Polish Lukasz Dzieciol (Opus Film), producer of \u201cCourage\u201d by G. Zglinski winner in 2011 of the Special Jury Prize at the Warsaw Film Festival; for the Czech Republic, Radim Prochazka (Produkce Radim Proch\u00e0zka s.r.o.), producer of the visionary documentary \u201cObscurantist and His Lineage\u201d by K. Vachek; from Iceland Hlin Johannesdottir (Zik Zak Filmworks), producter of \u201cVolcano\u201d by R. R\u00fanarsson, selected in 2011 at the Cannes International Film Festival (Director’s Fortnight), and winner at the Chicago International Film Festival; for the Danimarca Jesper Morthorst (Alphaville Pictures), producer of the film \u201cRoom 304\u201d by B. St\u00e6rmose, winner at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival for Best Soundtrack.
\nMajor Italian film distributors and masters of digital content will partecipate in the forum.
\nThe event will be jointly organized and sponsored by the Cinecitt\u00e0 Istituto Luce, Iceland Film Center, Czech Film Center, Polish Film Institute, and Danish Film Institute.<\/p>\n
